Context: It's premature to count India out of RECP: Centre (Crux of the article is also included). RCEP or Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership is a proposed Free Trade Agreement which aims to create a free trade zone of 10 ASEAN nations with Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand. Negotiations under the RCEP started in May 2013. Since then, it has undergone 25 rounds of expert analysis and 13 Ministerial meetings.
