On 17th January 2026, the foundation stone for AM Green’s Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Complex was laid in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.

The project will establish India’s first and the world’s largest green ammonia complex.

In July 2025, the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC) was made the nodal body to deal with major disasters.

The body was given statutory status under the Disaster Management (Amendment) Act, 2025 by inserting Section 8A.
