The 51st G7 Summit was held in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada in June 2025.

The summit marked the 50th anniversary of the first G7 meeting and was organised under the theme “Partnerships for the Future”.

Original Members France, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, and Italy.
Expansion Canada joined in 1976; the European Union has participated since 1977.
Russia and G8 Russia was part of the G8 until 2014, when it was suspended after the annexation of Crimea.
