Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojna, also referred to as the BHAVYA Scheme, was approved by the Union Cabinet in March 2026 as a major industrial development programme. Its central idea is to create ready-to-use industrial infrastructure so that companies do not lose time in land preparation, basic utility creation and initial construction delays.

The scheme is linked with India’s larger manufacturing push. By developing plug-and-play industrial parks, it aims to improve the ease of doing business, attract domestic and foreign investment, support export-oriented production and strengthen India’s ambition to become a global manufacturing hub.
