Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Rules, 2025

Data Localisation Introduces conditional restrictions; specific categories of personal data are prohibited from leaving India.
Penalties The Data Protection Board of India (DPBI), headquartered in New Delhi, can impose fines up to Rs. 250 crore for security failures.
