Technological Integration Mandates a National Disaster Database and integrates AI/ML models under Mission Mausam, enabling seven-day advance predictions for floods, cyclones, and extreme weather.
Institutional Reforms The High-Level Committee is granted statutory status to oversee financial assistance from the National Disaster Response Fund and Mitigation Fund.
Financial Allocations Significant funding is earmarked for the Urban Risk Management Programme (Phase-II), Assisting States for Disaster Rejuvenation, and community-based disaster resilience in Panchayati Raj Institutions.
Global Leadership Reinforces India’s international stature through the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure and humanitarian missions such as Operation Dost, Operation Brahma, and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
