India’s First Integrated Private Satellite Manufacturing Facility

On 22nd January 2026, the foundation stone for India’s first integrated private satellite manufacturing facility was laid at Khoraj in Sanand district of Gujarat.

The facility, named “Palmanaro”, is expected to emerge as a major private-sector hub for indigenous satellite and optical payload manufacturing.
