Resham Sakhi Yojana

The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the Resham Sakhi Yojana to economically empower rural women.

Under this scheme, women will be trained to earn income from sericulture while working from home.

Training and Silk Production

Training Area	Details

Mulberry Silk	Training for mulberry silk rearing will be provided in Mysore, Karnataka.
Tussar Silk	Training for tussar silk rearing will be provided in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Home-Based Production	Women will be enabled to produce mulberry silk and tussar silk from their homes.
