Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) releases an official notification for Gujarat Administrative & Civil Service Exam for the appointment in various departments of Gujarat Department. The candidates need to qualify Gujarat Civil Services Exam to secure a job in Class I and Class II Vacancies in the Gujarat Government.
We have prepared a comprehensive list of the GPSC Syllabus for both Prelims and Mains. It is important to know the GPSC Syllabus and all the topics covered under it. The preliminary examination will consist of two paper of objective type (multiple choice questions). On the basis of marks obtained in this examination, candidates are declared qualified for Main Examination. Final selection list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in Main Examination and Interview.This Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only and the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the Candidates, who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination, will not be counted for determining their final order of merit.

Main Examination will consist of a written examination. The Written examination will consist of six papers of conventional essay type questions. All papers are descriptive in nature. Each paper will be of three hours duration.For the Written Examination, there are basically six papers in GPSC Main Examination i.e. Gujarati, English, Essay, General Studies Paper 1, General Studies Paper 2 & General Studies Paper 3. Total marks assigned to Written Examination is 900. Based on the marks obtained in the Mains Examination by the Candidates are declared qualified for admission to the Interview Test (100 Marks).
